JUNIOR : DFS -vs -NMFC Academy
In a battle between some of Victoria’s best young players, the DFS -vs- NMFC ‘Junior’ Academy was a match worthy of it’s 2:00pm main game time-slot. Spectators, mainly consisting of very supportive player families, walked away very satisfied with the high quality contest. The NMFC Academy players displayed the skills and game play befitting their intense 6 week training program. The DFS juniors showed exactly why they are their club premier players, producing team-work and competitiveness far beyond coach expectations.
“Simply outstanding”, was DFS Head Coach Jarrad Carey summary of his team’s performance. “To think that these young players only came together 5 days ago and then put togehter a performance like that against an AFL Academy is quite special. I would love ot coach them again at our next carnival”.
Jarrad might get his wish, with most players currently enrolled in the 2016 Elite Summer Training Program.
