Dynamic Footy Skills (DFS) is delighted to confirm it will deliver the AFL Next Generation Academy (NGA) in Victoria for the North Melbourne Football Club.
The new deal, which commences in early July, will see DFS partner exclusively with North to deliver the AFL’s newly created talent identification program.
DFS is the only third party company that has been engaged by an AFL club to deliver a development program such as this. DFS will also assist AFL Tasmania with the development and implementation of the NGA in Tasmania.
DFS Director of Operations, Simon Corlett, said he was thrilled that DFS was approached to be the sole partner to deliver the AFL created Next Generation Academy for the Kangaroos.
“Our relationship with North Melbourne has evolved from providing testing and training sessions within their award winning Huddle program. The Next Generation Academy will allow DFS to contribute to both North Melbourne and TAC Clubs in unearthing the next wave of AFL talent”.
DFS, who has delivered AFL development programs for over 10,000 junior hopefuls, will design and deliver the Next Generation Academy within North Melbourne Football Club’s designated regions.
The Next Generation Academy, for boys and girls aged between 11 and 15, will hold its first talent identification testing day on July 4th.
