Elite Senior Camp 2017

One of the more advanced programs that Dynamic Footy Skills offers is the Elite Senior Camp.
The Elite Senior Camp is an amazing opportunity for talented players to be mentored by high-level coaches and come up against strong opposition.
This year, the DFS squad will play a one-off match against Peel Thunder from Mandurah, Western Australia.
Peel Thunder is the WAFL affiliate side for the Fremantle Football Club in the AFL and so has access to a wide range of skilled players and coaches.
The DFS squad is well led by two experienced coaches in Jarrad Carey and Darren Eldrett, who have both been with DFS for over five years.

Carey in currently the coach of the Eastern Districts Football League representative side and in the past has worked with players of high calibre such as Marcus Bontempelli and Scott Pendlebury.
Carey will take the title of senior coach, and is extremely excited for the challenge ahead.
“I am more excited for this year’s Elite Senior Camp than I have been about footy programs for many years,” Carey said.
“It’s a really good opportunity for kids to come up against an elite pathway team like Peel Thunder. I’m very confident they’ll get a lot out of it.”
While results are important, Carey believes the DFS coaches have a bigger responsibility than to just focus on ‘getting the win’.
“We’re very big on educating the players and trying to get them to adjust to elite behaviours and expectations. So we treat this like we would an interleague side or a TAC Cup side.”
“With Daz (Darren Eldrett) being the coach of an NFL rep team and myself being the coach of an EDFL rep team, we’ve got a really good balance there and we work well off each other.”
The DFS Elite Senior Camp squad will play the Peel Thunder Development squad on Friday July 7.
